Heading back from Koh Tao to Koh Samui? This return route takes you from Thailand's diving paradise back to Samui, where you can connect to flights at Samui Airport (USM) or continue your island-hopping journey. Lomprayah and Seatran Discovery run high-speed catamarans daily from Mae Haad Pier, reaching Samui's Nathon Pier in approximately 1.5 hours. The ferry stops at Koh Phangan en route, so you can also disembark there if that's your next destination. If you're catching a flight from Samui, allow at least 3–4 hours between your ferry arrival and flight departure to account for the pier-to-airport transfer and check-in. Ferry timing is generally reliable, but weather delays are possible during monsoon season.
